Hi Everyone!

Our holiday craft shows have gotten off to a good start.  We have 5 shows in November and December, so plenty of time to get those quality handmade gifts for family and friends.

We are well stocked with shaped Chocolates and our Milk Chocolate/Vanilla Cream Truffles, Dark Chocolate/Caramel Truffles and White Chocolate/Raspberry Truffles!

If you need Herbs for cooking over the next few months, we have a good stock of homegrown, hand-tended, hand-picked and dried Herbs.

We have new items this year that have gotten popular.  If you need a quality scrapbook or photo album, we are your go-to place!  We just stocked a bunch of new ones for the shows, so be sure to arrive early for best choice! There is a lot of interest, and I am not sure how long before we are sold out.

I am also trying this Nutcracker decorative box (8" X 8").  I've gotten some favorable reviews.  Stop by one of our shows and see it for yourself.

This photo is from our CAToberFest in mid-October.  It turned out to be a really good little show.  We will have much more than these items at our next 5 shows, so be sure to stop in and see what we have.

Hi Everyone!  Right after Seattle Pet Expo, my husband and I took a break from life.  Well, okay, from our crafts and shows.  Family were coming in to visit later in June, so we had to get ready for them.  The last family member just left this morning, so now we can get back to "work."  Wow!  That was an exhausting "vacation"!

First off, Congratulations to Sarah S., Holly J. and Josh P for winning the Dog, Pet-Themed and Cat door prize drawings at our Seattle Pet Expo booth earlier this month.  It was great seeing all the dogs, a few cats, parrots and lizard at the Expo.  We even saw some dog breeds we've never seen before, much less heard of.

We picked up a few more fans of our handmade chocolates, attracted a few more fans of our work, and made some good contacts at the Expo.  If you love Cats and/or Parrots, be sure to watch our blog, website and Facebook page for dates and locations of the Cat Expo and Parrot Expo, both in October.  Yes, we will have Cat and Parrot themed gifts for you to choose from.

Since we emptied our website of stock for the Expo, it is time to add new stock.  I was able to get in the craft room for a couple of hours yesterday and made some great 3-D, layered greeting cards:

Foil cards are difficult to photograph, so I am showing you the same greeting card with and without a flash.

This foil Rhino card is 4 layers high.  Background paper is of African design with dark green coral reef ribbon and two glitter swirls.  Yes, each of those birds are 4 layers high!

I love these 4 foil Cheetahs, four layers!  Leopard background paper with green ribbon and fall leaf with 3 silver rhinestones.

 

If you love Pandas, you will love this greeting card (two views with and without flash)!  Background paper is wood with green fabric leaf ribbon.  Three black and white pearls complete the card.

I'm an Elephant fan myself, so I love this card!  He is four layers.  Background paper is elephant hide design with elephant train paper strip at bottom.  A fall leaf and 3 green rhinestones complete the card.

These foil layered cards are all 5 X 6½ inches.  They are blank inside for your personal message.

This 3-D layered floral card has 4 layers.  The flowers have a shimmer finish.  5 X 6½", blank inside.

These two circular cards are 5 inches round.  The layered flowers are similar to the pink ones above -- 4 layers with a shimmery finish.  The flowers sit on a colored doily and rhinestones complete the cards.  Blank inside.

As I get greeting cards made, I'll post them here and for sale on our website.  Hope you are all having a great summer!

The Seattle Expo is almost here!   We are excited as this is our first LARGE show!  We have many pet-related gifts for you to shop, including Cat and Dog shaped chocolates.

Doing a show this large is a major feat for a small craft company.  In order to be more pet friendly, we asked a local pet retailer if they were interested in sponsoring us.  They said YES!  So come out to the show, get your free cat or dog snack packet, and sign up for a great Dog and/or Cat and/or Pet-related Gift Baskets!  Thank you Pet Adventure for all your help and sponsorship!  Even if you do not win one of our Gift Baskets, you really need to make a trip up to Mountlake Terrace (north of Seattle) to visit Pet Adventure's healthy pet supplies store.  Love going in there (and dangerous for the pocketbook)!
