Now that I have all the cat cards made for now for the Seattle Pet Expo, it is time to get started on the dogs.....

Dachshund hand cross stitched.

More of those great rub-ons from Europe!  So easy and fun to use!  Yes, this is a kitty, but still goes to the shows.

Dog lovers are gonna love this one!

Adorable card for that special someone!

I think I have you all caught up on cards I've made thus far this year.  We do have a spring show.....

I was informed by one of my customers that my (postage) stamp greeting cards stock was low.  Turns out, they were right!

Since I'm still working up cards for the June Pet Expo, I pulled out a bunch of cat stamps to make cards.  Here they are:

The bright foil papers are all from Belgium.

So cute -- Persians are such "royal" at times.

More papers from Belgium.

Have to put in some wild cats for my customers.

Wow!  These were all so fun to do, quick and easy, and affordable for the customers!

I had to take time out of making greeting cards to make a Baby Folio.  Here is the baby card I made for the new mother.  The paper matches the Folio.

And the Baby Folio....I started with Tim Holtz blank folio, and decorated the cover and created all the pages inside.

 Cover of the Folio.

Inside cover of folio as well as center flaps with pages under.

Close-up of inside flap.

Center section of folio.

Top flap of center section.

Center pages.

Bottom flap.

More center pages....

Last page of the center pages section.  There is a big pocket behind this paper so the mother can add more photos and/or other memorabilia.

Inside flap of folio that closes over the right side of folio keeping everything inside.

The purpose of the Baby Folio is to make notations of the baby's birth and first year.  Photos and other items can be added.  The mother was very excited to receive this handmade gift -- took 3 days to make.  Baby is due any time now.

Oh, and to my mother, since it is today -- Happy Birthday Mom!

Here are the cards I did in February....

Hand cross stitched Scottie for our dog-loving customers.

I started doing a bunch of layered cards back in December, but did not have time to finish them.  Here they are in finished form.....Yes, this one and the next two are foil layered cards.

Still trying to keep the cards simple.

Hand layered birthday card!

For the "foodie" customer.  Remember, the paper has to "work" with the card.

Yes, still hand layered cards.

We have a large show coming up in early June, the Seattle Pet Expo.  It is a two-day event at the Seattle Convention Center.  This will be our first time holding a booth.  In preparation for it, I am creating a BUNCH of cat and dog themed cards.  This is what I have so far.....

Keeping it simple so I can sell these cards are a reasonable price.

Don't you just love these kitties?!

Now, this one is different.  It is a rub-on from Europe.  The US rub-ons are VERY difficult to work with.  I got a bunch from our Belgium friends, and this is the first one I attempted.  So EASY and FUN!  And makes a great card!

I have 4 nieces and nephews who enjoy hearing from Auntie Carol and Uncle Keith.  The kitty and dog card above, I sent to one nephew.  Lightning McQueen below I was going to send to the other nephew, but his birthday is so close by, I held it out for then.

These two cards I made for my two nieces in California.

Lastly, I stitched this one for my Sister-in-Law's birthday.  We always go to the local Sewing & Stitchery Expo together, which is always very close if not on her birthday.  She has kept every card I made for her.

Til next time!
