Merry Christmas everyone!

Safe travels, and have a safe New Years!

A view of some of the greeting cards I sent out to family and friends. Catching a cold earlier this month put me way behind schedule; I still have more cards to make.

And, yes, plenty of my 3-D, layered cards.

This one is an ornament that can be taken off the card and added to their decor.

Merry Christmas and Happy, safe, New Year!

These are the last 2 items I have prepared for this weekend's holiday bazaar:

Instead of a card, I turned this Space Needle design into a trivet (hot pad).  It is a big design, so figured it would look nicer in the trivet instead of a card.  Yes, it is counted cross stitch.

I finished cross stitching this Pug two weeks ago, and finally got him fitted on a greeting card today.  Our customers love Pugs, but I just never have enough items available.

Remember -- The St. Pius X Holiday Craft Bazaar is tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.  My husband has his popular chocolates ready to go, including Dark Chocolate-Caramel Truffles!  Happy shopping!

Happy Veteran's Day!  Seven members of my and my husband's family (or their spouses) have served in the military over the years, with 3 during wars -- WWII and The Gulf War. Thank you to EVERY person and military Dog who has served in the military to keep our country safe.

We are getting ready for our first Holiday Craft Bazaar this coming weekend. Last weekend, I worked up a slew of the Vintage card line that I started last fall:

If you haven't noticed, these are all Dog greeting cards.  They will be available at this weekend's show:

St. Pious X Holiday Bazaar
22105 - 58th Avenue West
Mountlake Terrace, WA
November 14 - 15
Saturday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
Sunday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

I still have the Vintage Cat greeting cards to do, but they won't be finished by this weekend's show.  They should be done over the next two weeks for the Thanksgiving weekend show.  I will also work on the Vintage Christmas Cards.  If you are looking for Hanukkah cards, they will be available at this weekend's show.

Hope to see you on Saturday or Sunday!

Trying to get a few greeting cards finished that I started a year ago or so.  Here is one of the cards I stitched back then and is now completed.

Several weeks ago, I started playing with Circle Flip-It die-cuts to create new greeting cards.  Wow!  Am I having fun!

Whew!  These are fun!  However, I have a problem with them.  Regular card stock is too weak for the folds of the cards. They separate in no time.  I have tried several varieties of heavier card stock, but not much better.  After visiting Urban Scrapbooker, I picked up a couple of sheets of heavy card stock that may work.  I need to work with it a little bit more to be sure.  Stay tuned on this.  In the meantime, here are some more greeting cards created for our Holiday Craft Show stock:

Love this two-layered Seattle skyline design!

Since we live in the Puget Sound area of Washington state (Seattle area), there are a lot of Seahawks and Sounders fans.  I almost sold out of Seattle greeting cards at a show in September, so I had to restock for our November and December shows.

And now for some non-sports greeting cards....

Have you checked out our new website yet?  Greeting cards, etched glassware and handmade chocolates are up for sale.  Currently, the choice of stock is small. It is difficult to keep a website well stocked when caring for a loved one and attending all their medical appointments; and still create for shows and/or upload website stock.  Thank you for your patience as we continually work on this.  Of course, if you see anything on our blog you want to buy, just let us know and we'll email you an invoice.

Our new website also lists craft shows the next few weeks.  I'll list them here for your convenience:

St. Pious X Holiday Bazaar
22105 - 58th Avenue West
Mountlake Terrace, WA
November 14 - 15
Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sunday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Many of the items you see on our blog will be at the craft shows; what is on our website will not.  Hope to see you at the Bazaar!
